Your information

Privacy policy

This policy explains what TutuTerm collects when you contact us through this website, why we keep it, how long it stays and how you get it removed. Last updated: September 4, 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data described here is MLJ, SASU, publisher of TutuTerm, registered in Paris, France under SIREN 934 769 837. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. You can reach a human about anything in this document at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. Full company details are on the legal notice page.

What the contact form collects

This website has one form, the request form in the contact section of the home page. When you send it, we receive exactly these fields and nothing else:

  • name, your full name, so we can address you properly
  • email, your work email address, which is where the reply goes
  • company, your studio name
  • role, the role you selected, such as studio owner or artistic director
  • request, whether you asked for a demo, early access or a quote
  • size, the number of dancers enrolled at your studio last term
  • message, the free text you wrote about your season
  • consent, the record that you ticked the consent box
  • subject and recipient, two hidden routing values that direct the message to the right inbox
  • bot-field, an anti spam trap that a human never fills in

Your submission also arrives with technical metadata added by the form processor, including the date and time and the IP address the request came from. We do not ask for a dancer's name, a date of birth, a payment card or any other sensitive information anywhere on this website, and you should not put that kind of detail into the free text box.

Why we process it, and the legal basis

We use what you send for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you want it, to arrange and run a walkthrough of the product. Under the European General Data Protection Regulation, the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. We do not use these submissions to build a marketing list, we do not enrich them with data bought from a broker, and we never sell or rent them to anyone.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not lead to a working relationship is deleted within 24 months of the last message exchanged. If you become a customer, the enquiry becomes part of the account record and is kept for the life of the subscription plus the retention period required by French commercial and tax law. You can ask for earlier deletion at any point and we will act on it, subject only to records we are legally required to keep.

Who processes and stores submissions

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms on Netlify infrastructure, and a copy is forwarded by email to the address of the publication director. Netlify acts as our processor and is bound by its own data processing terms. No other third party receives your submission. We do not use an advertising network, a customer data platform or a chat widget on this site.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no cross site tracking pixels. There is no Google Analytics tag, no Meta pixel and no session recorder on any page. The only storage the browser may use is what is technically required to serve the pages and the fonts. Because there is no tracking, there is no consent banner to dismiss.

International transfers

MLJ, SASU is established in France and our host is established in the United States, so your submission crosses the Atlantic. Transfers to Netlify, Inc. are covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses incorporated in Netlify's data processing agreement, together with supplementary technical measures including encryption in transit and at rest. If you would rather not have your details leave your own country, write to us by email instead of using the form.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to receive your data in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, which in France is the CNIL.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to obtain a copy of it, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct inaccuracies, and the right to opt out of sale or of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not conduct targeted advertising, so those last two rights have nothing to act on here. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises a privacy right, and exercising one has no effect on the service you receive or the price you pay.

To exercise any of these rights, email jimenezjulien42@gmail.com from the address you used on the form, or tell us enough that we can find your record. We answer within 30 days. If we need to verify your identity, we will ask for the minimum necessary and nothing more.

Children's privacy

This website is aimed at studio owners and staff, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 through it. TutuTerm the software does hold records about minor dancers, but those records are entered by your studio under your own agreement with the families, and your studio remains the controller of them. If you believe a child's information has reached us through this website, write to us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

Submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored encrypted at rest. Access to the form inbox is limited to the publication director and is protected with multi factor authentication. We keep the number of people who can read your enquiry as small as it can reasonably be, which today is one.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page and, for any change that affects how existing submissions are handled, we contact the people concerned by email. This version is dated September 4, 2026 and replaces every earlier version.
